Tim Holt, cowboy or western actor or moviestar, started his movie career with
Harry Carey in The Law West of Tombstone. He went on to star in many western movies
during the 40's. During this time, his sister, Jennifer Holt also was starring in the western movies.
Tim Holt was born Charles John Holt III on February 5,
1919 at Beverly Hills, California.
He was the son of the very well known actor John Holt. Tim and his father Jack were
both in
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1946).
A few of the other movies he was in are Stagecoach (1939), Swiss Family Robinson (1940),
The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), Red River Robin Hood (1942)
and one of his last was The Monster That Challenged the World (1957).
Tim Holt rode off into the sunset on February 15, 1973 at Shawnee, Oklahoma.
