He was born Orvon Gene Autry on September 29, 1907 at Tioga,
Texas
and rode off into the sunset October 2, 1998 at his home in Studio City California.
Gene was owner of the Los Angeles Angels major league baseball team from 1961
thru 1997.
Last I heard, he was the only actor to have five stars on the Hollywood Walk
of Fame,
one in each of the five categories.

Condition: In good shape for as old as it is. Covers are in rough shape with
minor tears along binding (stapled) edge, aged dingy looking front with some minor creases, back is better. The front
cover is the worse condition of all pages and you can see the condition in the enlarged view. Also, you may notice my scanner
was not wide enough to copy the entire page, the white border on the right hand side was cut off in the photo. Pages have
browned. All pages are intact and are still bound in the booklet. The book measures 9 1/4" x 12". It has
64 pages and Weighs 1 pound 12 ounces. It has been in my collection for many years and kept as was when I obtained it. My
reason for keeping - I went to many of his shows when I was a kid. Gene was one of my favorite heroes. Inside cover lists
his birthplace. I was raised app 10 miles from there. Though he did come thru our little country town on occassion, I never
got to meet him as I was out in the country and we did not get around like we do today. Kinda really miss those good ole days.
