born Warren Mercer Oates on July 5, 1928 at  Depoy, Kentucky
and rode off into the sunset on April 3, 1982 at Los Angeles, California.
Warren Oates was in The Wild Bunch as well as many other movies. 
He also appeared as Ves Painter in the tv series Stoney Burke.
