Born Terrance Steven "Steve" McQueen on March 24, 1930 at Beach Grove, Indiana
and rode off into the sunset on November 7, 1980 at Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Steve McQueen landed the role of Josh Randall on Wanted: Dead or Alive, the tv show (1958
thru 1961). He carried a sawed-off 44.40 Winchester rifle he called the Mare's Leg. They used 45.70 bullets held
in his belt, instead of 44.40 ammo, for a tougher look effect.
