born Clarence Linden Crabbe II on February 7, 1908 at Oakland, California.
Larry Buster Crabbe starred as Tarzan in the 1933
serial Tarzan the Fearless and other jungle man movies.
He was known for his Flash Gordon role starting in 1936 and later shown in the 50's
and 60's.
Buster starred in Captain Gallant of the Foreigh Legion from 1955 to 1957.
Cullen Crabbe, his son, was Cuffy Sanders in the above serial.

Buster Crabbe rode off into the sunset on April 23, 1983 at Scottsdale, Arizona.
Notice how they changed his hair from (early) dark to (later) blonde
so it would not contrast, but compliment, Jean Rogers blond hair.
